Landlord Investment Show Heads to Woking 29 January 2015

Landlord Investment Show heads to Woking in Surrey on Thursday 29th January at the H.G Wells Centre in Woking.

We hear much about buy to let being a great investment and with new freedoms to invest your pension in something other than an annuity; many pundits predict people will turn to property.

But is property the right type of investment to deliver a pension? How has property performed in Surrey and surrounding areas? It may have delivered great capital growth, but what kind of income returns can you get?

These are all questions that any would be and indeed existing property investors need to be asking themselves and the good news is that the latest Landlord Investment Show is coming to Woking on Thursday 29th January to ensure you have all the information  you need for your property investment to be a success.

The show will feature both national and local buy to let experts all there on the day to help inform and answer questions so local & outside investors can understand the risks and rewards they face now and in the future. There will be property opportunities to invest in and essential information such as the latest rules and regulation changes about the requirement for immigration checks, potential new rules on retaliatory eviction and the implications of a change of emphasis on energy performance ratings. And, as we head into the New Year, the need to know about any tax breaks or new rules is vital for landlords to stay legal and make sure those tax bills are minimised!

One of the national experts presenting at the show will be Kate Faulkner, MD of independent property advice site property check lists. Kate regularly comments on property matters on TV and in the national and local media and explains from a market perspective “Surrey is a good area to invest from a capital growth perspective. Prices for properties over the last 15 years have increased on average by 6% every year, but you have to work hard to produce a good income from renting.” Kate goes on to say “These shows are essential for landlords. Whether you rent out your own home or another one you own, you have to run it as a business and with rules and regulations changing so often, landlords have to keep themselves up to date with what’s happening. The beauty of this show is it’s local to Woking and the surrounding Surrey area, so any market information is bespoke and therefore much more relevant.”

Tracey Hanbury Exhibition Director says “the event is completely free to attend and provides valuable information for Landlords, Investors and those who are venturing into buy to let.

Meet over 40 exhibitors at this one day event who can help you grow and retain your investment and attend seminars delivered by Industry experts.
