'AA service for landlords' launches |
Friday 22nd June 2012
A new property service has launched for landlords who self-manage their own properties.
First Assist-RLS says it is setting out to save landlords time and money, and give tenants a free 24/7 helpline for all of their requests.
Ryan Ellis, operations manager, said: “Our main goal is to make the job of the landlord easier, while considerably lowering costs when compared with managing through an agent or even managing a property alone.
“Essentially, our service is comparable to an AA membership for landlords.”
For a £15 monthly membership fee, First Assist provides a full-service offering to landlords. Core features include annual gas certification, PAT test, twice-yearly comprehensive property checks, 24/7 emergency call-out and free phone 24/7 helpline for their tenants.
For landlords not wanting to pay a membership fee, there is a pay-as-you-go option which simply requires landlords to pre-register their properties.
