Estate agency Hamptons International has announced the launch of its Short Lets department. The service, which covers the entire Hamptons International network and with a specialist focus on London, has been introduced to meet the growing demand of corporate organisations looking to accommodate staff, as well as private individuals looking for temporary rental accommodation.

The dedicated Short Lets team is able to offer potential clients a wide variety of fully furnished, high quality short term rental properties, providing a homely environment and hassle-free alternative to a hotel. Rental agreements range from a few weeks to six months, meaning that the team can help cater to the diverse requirements of all types of tenants.

Hamptons International’s current listings include a stunning conversion apartment in the heart of Covent Garden, complete with its own roof terrace and just a short walk from the West End and theatre district at £2,750 per week. As well as its offering within London, Hamptons International provides a regional spread of short let accommodation and for £480 per week, a detached waterfront bungalow in old Windsor provides a tranquil setting in one of England’s most historic towns.

Having provided the accommodation for the X-Factor finalists in 2013, Hamptons International has also organised short lets for the casts and crew of film productions that have taken place across the capital. It says that month-long holiday lets to UK visitors over the summer and Christmas seasons further exemplify the diverse nature of types of tenants and their length of tenure for those considering letting their home on a short-term basis.

Elliott Tooley, Short Lets manager at Hamptons International, says: “We’re delighted to offer a comprehensive Short Lets service in what has become a necessity in today’s residential property market. Value for money, the flexibility of weekly or monthly tenancies and the opportunity to benefit from home comforts rather than a soulless hotel room make short stay lets an attractive option for corporate organisations seeking accommodation for their relocation employees, as well as individuals looking for short term solutions. Whether it’s a corporate secondment in the City, alternative housing during building works or simply a holiday apartment, our dedicated Short Lets team is on hand to assist clients, whatever their needs.”

Hamptons International’s Short Lets Department will also offer a proactive home search, sourcing short term accommodation for a wide variety of uses, as well as operating accompanied viewings.

Lesley Cairns, head of lettings at Hamptons International, says: “At Hamptons International, we have noticed a significant rise in demand for short term accommodation not only in the capital, but also across the rest of the UK amongst corporate and private tenants. We are proud to have a new and dedicated in-house team who can assist clients nationwide as they search for a short term home from home.”
