Nationwide online estate agent House Tree has launched a lettings service for landlords and tenants.

The website, which lists client’s properties on over 150 property websites including Rightmove and Zoopla, has launched three lettings packages.

The Tenant Finder Package, which costs £69+VAT, includes comprehensive tenant referencing and assistance in preparing an advert which will go live within 24 hours across all major property sites including Rightmove and Zoopla.

The second package – Part Managed – includes everything in the Tenant Finder package as well as an ARLA approved tenancy agreement, deposit protection, rental collection services, inventories and annual gas safety reminders. This package costs £199+VAT and £30+VAT per month.

The Fully Managed package, which costs £199+VAT and £50+VAT per month, consists of all aspects of the Part Managed package alongside on-going management and maintenance, check-outs, deposits release, renewals, emergency maintenance and more.

The firm is also offering additional extras such as To Let boards, Energy Performance Certificates, professional photos and floor plans, and gas safety certificates.

House Tree was founded by property entrepreneur Tom Harrington, who appeared in the latest series of Dragons’ Den pitching for an investment in one of his other businesses, pay-per-view estate agent, We Sold.

The online agency prides itself on providing a unique combination of traditional and online services, passing savings on to vendors and landlords and harnessing the latest property technology.

“I’m delighted to have launched House Tree’s lettings service,” Harrington commented. “We are looking forward to helping landlords market their rental properties for an affordable cost, allowing them to choose which aspects of the letting agent service they require through the three packages we have assembled.”

“The demand for rental property is undoubtedly at an all-time high and it seems that now is as good a time as ever to become a landlord or expand a rental portfolio,” he added.

Landlords can find out the value of their rental property using House Tree’s free instant online valuation tool.
