How long have you been trading?

I’ve been in the business for approximately 30 years and I’ve been with Able Estates for 21 years.

Why are you going into the auction market?
We always like to be open minded with regards to new ideas and the concept seems an interesting opportunity. It’s not going to appeal to all sellers and buyers but am convinced there’s a place in the market for modern method auction.

Where do you see the property market moving in the next 5 years?
I can only speak for my own area. Abbey Wood over the next 5 -10 years will greatly change, all for the better. More retail, more homes, more jobs, more accessibility can only bring more business to both sales and lettings.

What advice would you give to Landlords or property investors in today’s market?

Landlords, property is like karma, the more you put into it the more you get out of it. Quality property attracts quality tenants. Poor quality property only attract poor quality tenants.
