Police seek rental conman

Police are seeking a rogue tenant who posed as a landlord to con cash out of potential tenants for a studio flat in Bedminster, Bristol.

The BBC  reports that Avon and Somerset Police are hunting for Arkadiusz Sylwester Nader.

Four people each paid Nader about £1,100 in rent and deposits for the same studio flat. But when they came to move in, the so-called landlord had disappeared with their money. The property is owned by someone entirely different.

All the victims hail from Eastern Europe, with Mr Nader targeting them online, and were told they could move in on 3 December.
