More corporate tenants relocating to London and the South East, says agent

There has been a “significant increase” in demand among corporate tenants relocating to London and the South East of England thanks to a rise in global firms expanding across the capital, according to Jackson-Stops & Staff.

The London division of the national estate agent, which has several branches in the prime areas of the capital including Mayfair, Chelsea and Holland Park, has responded to greater corporate demand by launching a new residential corporate services department for corporate tenants looking to relocate to London and Surrey.

The firm point to official data from the Office for National Statistics which reveals that the number of non-UK born people working in the UK is up by 367,000 annually to 5.4million, suggesting there is increasing demand from companies operating overseas to move their employees in southern in England, particularly in and around the capital.


Amelia Redington, who heads up the residential corporate services department, said: “We have noticed a significant increase in demand among corporate tenants relocating to the South East as global firms expand their businesses to new locations. London is regarded as one of the world’s safest and most economically stable cities, and this continues to remain the case post-Brexit.

“Our experienced and highly professional team is able to work to demanding timeframes to deliver a property that is suitable, considering a range of factors such as commuting time, proximity to a place of work, schooling or even the local gym, as well as what a tenant needs from their home.”
