New service allows ‘landlords to cash in until they find the perfect tenant’

A London-based sales and letting agent has launched an Airbnb interior styling service that it hopes will enable more buy-to-let landlords to reduce void rental periods and ‘cash in until they find the perfect tenant’.

Portico Host has launched an Airbnb interior styling service, as part of their premium Airbnb management package, to act as a ‘stop gap’ to ensure that properties are rarely vacant in-between secure long-term tenancies by tailoring them so that they are suited for increasingly popular holiday letting sites, such as Airbnb.  

Portico Host employs top interior stylists to kit out properties with furniture and soft furnishings to really maximise their appeal to potential Airbnb guests.

The stylists work to the client’s budget and taste, putting together a proposal before any work is started.

As part of the Airbnb Management package, Portico Host will also look after the entire Airbnb management process, from setting up the property listing, organising professional cleaning and hotel quality linens, arranging 24hr check-in, handling guest bookings and communication, and dealing with all property maintenance.

The Airbnb management package ranges from 15% to 20% + VAT.
