Landlords in London could earn £180 per night this Easter, says Air Agents

Buy-to-let landlords who own properties in London that look set to be empty over the Easter bank holiday weekend are being urged to make the most of their assets by renting out their homes on a short-term let.

Based on the average price of a three-night rental, Air Agents, a short-let management company, calculated that landlords with properties in zones one and two could earn on average £180 per night, totalling £540 for the Easter weekend.

“Whilst you’re away this Easter, your home could help pay for your trip,” said Fran Milsom, co-founder of Air Agents.

April marks the beginning of the high season, and Milsom says that this is reflected by fresh data from Airbnb revealing that there are currently less than 9% of homes in the capital left to be booked this Easter.

“You are almost guaranteed a rental income whilst you are away this weekend,” Milsom added.
