Knockout event sees landlords and agents raise more than £18,000 for charity

The biggest white collar boxing event ever brought to the property industry, ‘Rumble with the Agents’, took place at The Holiday Inn in Finchley Central, north London, at the end of last week.

The sell-out event, hosted by Landlord Action’s Paul Shamplina, attracted almost 300 landlords and letting agents, raising almost £18,500 for children's charity Make-a-Wish.

Whilst guests enjoyed a three course dinner, the 10 boxers, including several landlords, kept the crowds on the edge of their seats, demonstrating all the time and effort they have put into training over the past few months.

The event also featured a live auction, which saw people dig deep as they bid for some incredible sporting memorabilia.

There were a total of five fights with a maximum of three rounds in each, which gave rival agents and landlords plenty of time to cheer on their contestants and heckle one another across the ring.

Make-a-Wish aims to grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children fighting life-threatening conditions.
