A new online platform dedicated to the buying and selling of income-generating properties has been launched.
Powered by Experience Invest, yieldbase allows existing and prospective landlords to acquire and offload a range of investment properties, from student accommodation to residential buy-to-let and commercial units.
With a focus on new-build developments, each property listed on yieldbase comes fully furnished and is run by a management company, which is responsible for maintenance and arranging tenancy agreements.
yieldbase also ensures investors with a buy-to-let property can liquidate their asset by connecting sellers with buyers.
The launch of yieldbase comes as research by its parent company Experience Invest found 25% of UK investors are currently locked into investments they cannot liquidate, while 80% are demanding greater transparency surrounding exit strategies.
The properties listed on yieldbase are located across the UK, including Luton, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester, with prices start from £60,000 and offering rental yields of up to 8.3% per annum net.
Jerald Solis, director at yieldbase, said: “The UK’s buy-to-let market has long been sought after by both domestic and international investors. The launch of yieldbase is going to simplify the marketplace – it will connect buyers and sellers of income-generating properties on a transparent, easy-to-use platform.
“For buyers, yieldbase boasts the added convenience of all its listed properties being fully-furnished and run by a management company, removing the costly and time-consuming processes of maintaining the property and finding tenants. This means they can enjoy the perks of being a property investor without the day-to-day hassle of being a landlord.
“Given Experience Invest’s 15-year history specialising in property investment opportunities, we’re confident yieldbase will prove extremely popular among buy-to-let investors who are keen to easily manage their portfolios.”
