This innovative technology has been introduced for the first time ever in Scotland by homebuilder Keepmoat Homes, as part of the launch of its new NorthBridge development in Glasgow, allowing people to get a feel for the upcoming scheme, ahead of the area being fully established.

The project, which will feature 824 homes, has been officially launched by Aileen Campbell MSP, as part of a £250m Sighthill Transformational Regeneration Area (TRA) – the biggest such scheme in the UK outside of London.

The VR tour will enable viewers to walk down the streets, discover the cycle paths, and explore the green open spaces months before decding whether or not to invest in a property off-plant.

Beth McNeil, regional managing director at Keepmoat Homes Scotland, said: “We are delighted with the launch of NorthBridge, and really excited to be able to use this innovative technology for the first time in Keepmoat’s history on what is our flagship development.

“NorthBridge is truly unique, and we see it as a fantastic example of how working with key partners including Scottish government and Glasgow City Council can regenerate a whole area of Glasgow, and provide new homes and new opportunities which will really benefit the city.”
