A shocked landlord found a cannabis farm in one of his properties in West Bromwich.

The landlord called the police after discovering around 180 of cannabis plants at the house in Ardav Road, Hill Top, B70, as well as growing equipment.

Officers found plants throughout the two-bedroom property, including the loft. They are now trying to track down the tenants.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police commented: “We were alerted on February 12 by the landlord of a house in Ardav Road, Hill Top in West Bromwich, to a large cannabis factory that had been established in his property.
