A new online platform for landlords claims to allow them to manage property certifications and inspections for single or multiple properties nationwide. 

The system – called Symple – says its use guarantees inspections will be done on time, every time.

Simon Dresdner, Symple’s founder, says: Founder of Symple, said: “We knew there had to be an easier way for landlords to book their gas safety, electrical installation and energy performance inspections that are required by law.

Registration is free; landlords have to upload the details of their property, or properties, and the last date of inspection. Once registered, the online system will remind landlords when a property certificate is up for renewal so that when the service is due again.

Landlords can renew a certificate by visiting the online platform and clicking ‘renew’ on the relevant property. Symple then arranges the inspection to be carried out by a local registered service provider.

All its Gas Safe Service Providers, Electricians, and Energy Assessors must be accredited to carry out the relevant inspection and pass a strict vetting process before they can accept work on the platform.
