The government has reissued its official guidance on the possession process for private landlord.
The document was originally published last September but has now been updated to take account of the latest extension to the ban on bailiff-enforced evictions.
The document also details the new notice periods which must be given to tenants until May 31 and sets out the exceptions which would allow possession processes to be conducted in extreme circumstances such as anti-social behaviour, false statement and where a tenant has accrued rent arrears to the value of at least six months’ rent.

Government guidance if this is what it is why do they say so rather than further confuse. Assured Tenancies never mention Assured Short Hold Tenancies a different thing to my mind.
