Lettings platform Mashroom has pulled together what it suggests are the most influential landlords using the social media service TikTok.
For the uninitiated, TikTok is a vide-sharing social network which came to fame during the pandemic; it’s a worldwide service but is perhaps best known here thanks to an unlikely dance performance by renowned actress Dame Judi Dench, filmed during lockdown by her grandson.
‘PropertyTok’ is the new big trend on the TikTok app; the hashtag has hit 500,000 views and is full of landlords giving their helpful tips and tricks.
Now Mashroom says these are the landlords to look out for if you’re “on” TikTok.
@samuel_leeds - Leeds is a London-based investor with a multi-million pound and over 42,000 followers on TikTok.
@joosters - She boasts over 83,000 followers on TikTok - the former pharmacist is now a property investor and small business owner. Between videos of her daily life, and promoting her health brand, she gives tips on mortgages, how to save for your first home and why she buys to let rather than flipping and selling.
@Koestates - this is a North-West based property investment firm frequently posting videos about the properties it’s located for clients, costs, rental income and monthly gross profit.
@theanxiousinvestor - this account has around 60,000 followers and the man behind it frequently discusses the benefits of HMOs rather than standard buy to let.
