A new league table has been prepared showing the average costs of listings on Airbnb - and London features outside the top 10.
Newcastle came out on top as being the location charging the most per-night for a stay in an Airbnb, at an average of £122 per night.
Next in the top five came Leeds (£121.60), York (£120), Exeter (£118.60) and Cambridge (£105.60).
The least profitable city to start an Airbnb business is in Edinburgh, charging an average of £64.40 per night - competition is thought to be fierce in the Scottish capital because of the sheer number of listings - followed by Aberdeen (£66.20) and Birmingham (£76.20).
