A fledgling trade group its holding an online PropTech conference later this month.

The Portfolio Landlords Action Network – PLAN – is to hold its first tech exhibition explaining the benefits of technology for multi-owning landlords.

The event was originally billed for February but is now to be held online on March 23 at 6pm.

PLAN launched in November and says it’s standing up for landlords who operate full time on a professional and ethical basis with 75-plus units. It has over 30 members with 5,000 properties between them.

Promotional material for the event suggests there will be five exhibitors – Ark Software, COHO co-living software, PropTech supplier Kerfuffle, Docusign signature software,  and floorplan and virtual tour company Giraffe 360.

PLAN founder Marcus Selmon says: “One of our core objectives is to share information about best practice and in particular best tech for operating a rental portfolio.

“Most landlords do not have the resource or often the interest in tech to realise even a fraction of its potential and I include myself in that.

“These are understanding the potential a tech has to offer; choosing between what is normally a wide selection of tech offering the same solution and being able to actually implement it into your business on a day to day basis.”

The organisation says this is the start of a series of events backed up by information available on its website.
