Private landlords and letting agents can pick up tips on how to keep energy costs under control, stay on top of content inventory and better support tenants at a free online event.

The online forum, hosted by Fenland council, will offer landlords and agents the chance to hear from a panel of experts and put their questions.

A council spokesman says: “We provide advice and assistance to residential landlords and tenants to support the provision of top quality private rental provision across the district.

“We’ve run several free landlord forums like this before, which always prove extremely popular.

“It’s an opportunity to hear tips and advice from experts in the field on some of the biggest challenges facing landlords today.”

The event will include Inventory tips from property inventory services firm No Letting Go; domestic abuse information from Danae Evans, Domestic Abuse Manager at Cambridgeshire county council; benefits tips from Anglia Revenues Partnership; cost saving hacks from a local private landlord; and an update from Fenland council itself.

The event will be held via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday February 26 from 6pm to 8pm.
