Landlords, prospective landlords and letting agents are invited to join a Landlord and Letting Agents support event.

The free event takes place in Sevenoaks from 5.30pm to 8pm on Wednesday June 21.

Landlords can hear about the support available from the local Sevenoaks council, including signing up suitable tenants and the latest information about changes to the private rented sector.

There will also be presentations from local accountants specialising in renting and property, Metro Bank and the National Residential Landlords Association.

The council’s cabinet member for housing, Councillor Perry Cole, says: “We’re really pleased to offer this free event to landlords in the Sevenoaks District. Being a landlord involves a tremendous amount of work so we want to make sure those who let property know about all the help available to them.

“This event will be a great opportunity to meet other landlords from the local area and get the most up-to-date information about legislation changes.”

To book a place on the free event, landlords should visit www.sevenoaks.gov.uk/landlords.
