Compliance for Landlords - Crash Course to be held this week

Next weekend sees a crash course event for landlords to bring them up to date with the 160 pieces of legislation and 400 regulations that affect their business.

The Compliance Event is organised by Landlord Licensing & Defence and is being held on Saturday, October 7, at the Crown Plaza in Reading.

Phil Turtle, the fire and compliance expert at Landlord Licensing & Defence, says: "The Compliance Event is not just another seminar or workshop. It is a crash course that will transform the mindset and business of all property professionals. It will help everyone avoid the pitfalls and traps that thousands of rental property owners fall into every day – and end up getting £30,000 fines or even more.”

It will cover topics such as the Renters Reform Bill, tenant selection, property inspections, the eviction lifecycle, fire safety, licensing, HMO management and upcoming Property MOTs.
