Another council has set up an advice session for private rental landlords in the area.
This even will take place at Neath Civic Centre on March 19 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Attendees will hear expert advice and guidance on handling issues such as damp and mould. Additionally, the event will provide information on Leasing Scheme Wales, a programme to enable landlords to lease their property to the council for guaranteed rent payments spanning between five and 20 years.
Speakers from the National Residential Landlords Association, Rent Smart Wales, and Neath Port Talbot council will be present to share their expertise.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other landlords and engage directly with the guest speakers.
Councillor Alun Llewelyn, Cabinet Member for Housing & Community Safety, comments: “The Private Rented Landlord Event is an opportunity for landlords to find out about how they can access essential information and resources that could be of real benefit to them. We know that private landlords play a fundamental role in the local housing sector and we are keen to work closely with them.”
The event is for established landlords who may have a portfolio of properties, newly established landlords and accidental landlords
