Three webinars next week will cover key aspects of deposit disputes between landlords and tenants.
They’re organised by the Deposit Protection Service as part of its commitment to provide regular learning opportunities for landlords.
Each hour-long webinar will include a trained adjudicator and will cover:
– Tuesday 16 April: preparing for claims and disputes;
– Wednesday 17 April: the adjudication process and how to best prepare adjudication evidence;
– Thursday 18 April: an interactive session about a ‘real-life’ dispute, with the opportunity to apply knowledge and reach conclusions.
DPS managing director Matt Trevett says: “Deposit disputes can be stressful experiences for landlords and tenants. Our online dispute webinars are among some of our most popular landlord learning events. By helping landlords better hone their approach ahead of any disputes, we can hopefully help them avoid one altogether.”
