Top tips will be provided for landlords in the private rental market in a seminar next month organised by high profile independent lettings agent Nicol & Co.

Property, legal and financial experts will be putting the Worcestershire lettings sector under the spotlight at the Nicol & Co Landlord Event from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday May 2 at Worcestershire FA’s County Sports Ground on Claines Lane, Worcester.

James Gwynne, lettings manager at Nicol & Co., says: “Whether you are a current landlord investing in property or are looking to venture into the world of lettings, this event is for you.

“Following the success of last year’s events, we will once again be delivering an insightful seminar featuring distinguished speakers from mortgage brokers, accountancy firms, insurance brokers and our own experienced lettings team.

“Topics to be discussed will include the latest legislation and tax changes, buy-to-let mortgages, how to grow your portfolio, increasing your yield, and deciding where and what to buy.

“We’re also keen to get input from those attending: what topics are crucial for you, and how can we tailor this event to ensure you get the most out of it?”

Anyone with input can send thoughts via www.surveymonkey.com/r/LV9RNSV.

Gwynne adds: “These events proved invaluable for both current and potential landlords last year, and we’re excited to take them a notch higher in 2024 with this being the first of three Landlord Seminars.”

Later Nicol & Co’s Landlord Events are in August and November.

Tickets for the May event can be booked here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/nicol-co-landlord-event-tickets-866938836397.
