Maureen Urquhart, of Midlothian, was fined £500, having emailed the Scottish Government’s then-housing spokesman Patrick Harvie.
There were abusive and threatening content to some of the emails, including stating that Urquhart would shoot Harvie if she had a gun. There were also abusive comments made in the emails about the then-First Minister of Scotland, Humza Yousaf.
Urquhart also made abusive comments towards Muslims in one of the two emails.
