The start of 2025 show positive signs for the property market, says Zoopla.

The portal says buyer demand on its site is tracking 14% ahead of early 2024, and new sales agreed up 15% compared to the first week of 2024.

These positive market signs are supported by a significant vendor bounce on Zoopla, which started earlier than anticipated on Christmas Day.

Vendor sales leads have increased by 125% in the first week of January compared to Christmas Eve. User sessions were also up by 113% for the same period.

The start of January 2025 has seen a 12% increase in listings per estate agency branch on Zoopla compared to the start of 2024.

Zoopla says it will continue to support this buyer interest with its newly launched marketing campaign running during the key Spring selling months. Upcoming TV spots for Zoopla’s ad include Gogglebox and the Guinness Six Nations.

Additionally, the campaign is live across several digital channels including Amazon Prime, broadcast video on demand, YouTube, and social media sites. It will also leverage Zoopla’s partnership with England Cricket which will be ramping up in 2025.
