The Deposit Protection Service is making its dispute information webinars available ‘on-demand’ whenever a viewer wishes.

The series of existing webinars has now been augmented by three new ones, which feature working adjudicators from the DPS.

The new webinars are:

• Avoiding disputes: specific actions to take throughout a tenancy to avoid disputes at the end.

• Deciphering disputes: the evidence upon which dispute adjudicators base their decisions. 

• Case study: be the adjudicator! an example of a dispute in which viewers reach their own decision using available evidence.

Matt Trevett, managing director at DPS, says: “Around 6,000 landlords have already undertaken our free webinar training on disputes. 

“By making the recorded sessions available ‘on-demand,’ we’re ensuring that as many of our customers as possible can watch the videos at a time and place that suits them in order to understand the key principles of tenancy management.

“Spring is a common time for house moves, and we hope the webinars will refresh landlords and tenants’ understanding of the best practices to prevent a dispute and conclude a tenancy successfully.”
