Landlords and letting agents are invited to attend Rent Smart Exeter at Exeter Racecourse next month.

Rent Smart Devon is free to attend and takes place on Thursday May 22, sponsored by Tozers LLP.

It will host exhibitions from specialist companies covering many aspects of property management, as well as support organisations, available to help smooth the tenancy pathway.

There will be a range of experts on hand to answer questions on the Renters’ Rights Bill.

Doors open at 2pm for networking, with presentations starting at 3pm.

The presentations will focus on the Renters’ Rights Bill and specifically:

Enforcement: The key legal changes and compliance requirements offering insights into the new legal landscape for landlords, their obligations and how to remain compliant.

Tenancy Management: Tenants rights and enhanced protections and understanding the new rights and protections afforded to tenants.

Possession: Navigating the new possession processes following the removal of Section 21.

Rent Smart Devon is delivered in partnership with East Devon District Council, Exeter City Council, Teignbridge District Council and Torbay Council.
