A rural council is to stage a landlord networking event – addressed by a TV personality.

A statement from the local authority says: “If you own a rental property business within Mid Devon, this worthwhile event will help guide you through your legal obligations and help you provide a good quality, well managed and safe home for your tenants.”

The keynote speaker is TV’s Martin Roberts who will be providing insight into his experience of property development.

There will also be presentations covering changes in legislation that affect landlords with representatives from the Ministry for Housing Communities and Local Government; the council itself; and local businesses

The statement continues: “Whether you’re just starting out, have a small number of buy to lets or a considerable property portfolio, you’ll be sure to benefit by attending this free event.”

Book your place now and join other local property owners at The Corn Barn, Cullompton between 4.00pm and 9.00pm on Wednesday May 14.

There’s even a free light supper too.
