A lettings agency is running a 90-minute teach-in on the Renters Rights Bill next week – just days before it is expected to become law.

Chester-based agency Cavendish is holding the online webinar titled Emergency Landlord Briefing – the Renters Rights Bill will change everything on Thursday 9 October after the firm discovered in a survey that an overwhelming 93% of agents knew little or nothing about the Bill.

The agency says landlords will learn the latest changes to regulations and how they’ll impact responsibilities and rights as a landlord; how to stay on top of legal requirements to avoid fines and protect properties from potential disputes or legal action; strategies for maximising rental income; and how to keep rental properties profitable and well managed.

The Bill returns to Parliament for what is believed to be its final substantial debate on October 14 – it is then expected to win Royal Assent and become law shortly after.
