The student accommodation service Loc8me has added York to its growing northern network.

It already operates in Newcastle, Durham, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, and Hull.

Based in Loughborough, loc8me now operates across 19 major university cities nationwide and manages more than 3,500 properties and 8,000 bedrooms for over 8,000 students.

The properties in York will be managed from the company’s regional office in Leeds.

Loc8me will deliver its full property management service across York, home to more than 22,000 students, including tenancy management, maintenance coordination, compliance oversight and 24-hour tenant support.

Founder Raffaele Russo says: “Students in York have very clear expectations about where and how they want to live.

“It is a city that values quality, consistency and trust, and that aligns closely with how we’re looking to support those students.

“Northern university cities deserve the same consistency and professionalism that students expect anywhere else in the country.

“Every new city gives us that opportunity to raise standards by improving the overall experience students have while they are here.”
