How are you Making your Property Cosy this Autumn?
23 October 2017 1036 Views
Hands up who’s put their heating on already? Autumn seems to have crept up on us so quickly this year that it already feels like the middle of winter!
But the good thing about autumn is that you can start lighting the fire once again and snuggling up on the sofa with a big fluffy blanket – it’s such a cosy time for interiors.
For landlords and tenants, however, it can be difficult to put your own spin on a property without doing too much work (most tenants will be prohibited from decorating their homes and landlords won’t want to add too much personalisation to the décor). For that reason, it would be great to see how people have managed to make their space more homely and given it an autumn feel.
Just Landlords has launched a competition to see what all property owners and tenants are doing to make their homes more snug – you could win a great prize by entering through Facebook or Twitter. All you have to do is post a photo of your cosy home and hashtag #AutumnIsHere and tag @JustLandlords by Thursday 30th November 2017 and you could win a £100 John Lewis voucher!
There will also be prizes for the second and third place winners – do you fancy a £50 or £25 Amazon voucher? Then don’t forget to enter! Winners will be revealed on Monday 4th December 2017!
Homeowners can also get involved by showing off how they’ve spruced up their properties and prepared them for the colder months. It’s also a great chance for sellers to showcase how they’ve staged their home for autumn viewings.
The possibilities of making a property more homely are endless – for tenants, now’s your chance to put your own spin on your rental with cosy throws and fluffy pillows. Landlords should also be thinking about how they can make their property stand out from the crowd if it’s going on the lettings market this autumn.
How have you made your property more cosy now that #AutumnIsHere? Show it off on Facebook or Twitter for the chance to win – good luck!
