I received this information from my tenant. Is there anyone to contact locally (I am based in Australia) who is dealing with the issue? I have already instructed the tenant to cancel her standing order and have checked that her deposit was registered with TDS (which it was - thankfully). Clearly my concern is the recovery of the July rent but also to give my tenant piece of mind with regard to keys. I have instructed her to change the locks at my cost if she feels concerned.
