A series of seminars looking at the current housing market and its effect on property businesses is being held by accountancy and business advice firm Crowe Clark Whitehill.

The first free seminar is in London on June 20, followed by Marchester on June 21 and Cheltenham on June 28, with further seminars next month in Kent, the Midlands and Thames Valley.

The sessions, led by experts in the field, will tackle sector-specific issues including property valuations, corporate and personal tax, VAT, exit strategies and the effect of the 2012 Budget on property businesses.

Stacy Eden, head of property and construction at Crowe Clark Whitehill, says: “Getting the most out of your property business this year will undoubtedly be a challenge. The UK economy has fallen back into recession and property prices are only experiencing marginal growth, driven predominantly by price increases in London and the South-East.

“We will provide attendees with professional advice on crucial issues such as tax valuation movements and exit strategies to ensure they are fully prepared for what lies ahead.”
