The chief executive of the National Residential Landlords Association has bagged a prestigious leadership award
Ben Beadle won Gold in the Association Leadership Award at the Association Excellence Awards with the association itself runner up in the UK Association of the Year category.
The awards celebrate and encourage the work that associations, trade bodies, professional organisations and institutes do for and on behalf of their members.
The NRLA’s first Landlord Conference also picked up the bronze award in the Best New Event category.
Beadle helped merge two previous rival organisations to create NRLA in 2020 and he told the awards event: "The NRLA is a truly member-first organisation committed to proving everything landlords need to run a successful lettings business and today's wins are testament to the hard work of everyone within the organisation.
"Campaigning is a key element of our work at the NRLA, and I believe in leading from the front to ensure landlords' concerns and issues surrounding the private rented sector are driven up the political agenda.
"I am also committed to changing the narrative around landlords and the private rented sector in the media to highlight the key role it plays in the vital provision of homes."
