Landlords can register for free forum with NRLA rep and others

St Albans council is hosting a Landlord Forum on Tuesday May 23.

This will be an opportunity for landlords and letting agents to network and learn about new legislation that may affect them.

There will be guest speakers to provide advice and information on key issues. Staff from the Council’s private sector housing team and its Mosaic Lettings Help-to-Let scheme will also be in attendance along with a representative from the National Residential Landlords Association.

Imagine that we can Register for free, what more crap are they dreaming up now for us, a Redress ponzi Scheme I suppose, no one to Redress us, with the Council’s and Tribunal’s on their side why would they need more give them the Title Deeds. just where do they get off we are sinking to the bottom with the weight of Administration nothing to do with supplying quality affordable housing, they are the fly in the ointment themselves.
So already just to do on Tenancy Agreement (Gov model tenancy 55 pages), HMO licensing £1’550 Application fee alone (mandatory) + thousands for Compliances, ‘How 2 Rent’ ‘ Right 2 Rent’ Share Codes, Register for ICO Annual and pay the fee, Electric 5 years DEICR, Gas Certificate Annually , Fire Detection Certificate Annual, Emergency lighting Certificate Annual, Certificates hugely expensive, Energy Performance Certificate. must have Notice Board that Tenants always remove, Fire Blankets, extinguisher, Carbon Monoxide detector, Referencing, No Dogs 🐕 please. I think that’s enough to be getting on with without go to St Albans for more c..p.
