Free event for landlords includes NRLA legislation update

Landlords and agents are being invited to attend a free event aimed at providing updates on new housing legislation and industry issues.

The event is being organised by Northumberland county council and will be held in Blyth tomorrow from 5pm to 7pm.

Anyone wishing to attend should register their interest by emailing privatesectorhousing@northumberland.gov.uk

There will be presentations from guest speakers Paul Hampton from Approved Mortgage Solutions and John Forth from National Residential Landlord Association.

Approved Mortgage Solutions will be there to give landlords some general educational advice around finance and mortgages; and the NRLA to give landlords updates on new housing legislation and discuss the current key issues in the Private Rented Sector.

A council spokesperson says: “Our Landlord Forums are a great opportunity for you to get up to date, impartial and professional advice. There are also opportunities to network and meet and share views with officers from Northumberland County Council Private Sector Housing Team. If you rent out a property, then please try and come along.”
