Landlords' views sought - council extends consultation period

A north of England local authority has extended the period of time for landlords to respond to a consultation.

Bolsover council says it wants to better understand landlords’ and tenants’ issues and has issued a 10 question online survey. The original deadline of June 30 has now been extended to August 31.

The council says: “We want to better understand the private rented sector.

“This includes what works well and areas for improvement and the actions that we should take to address them. The feedback from this survey will help to improve the private rented sector and the support offered to tenants, as well how we can improve the private rented sector and the support offered to landlords.

“We have appointed arc4 housing consultants to provide support to complete this and you are invited to complete the relevant survey.”

Here is the survey in question for landlords.

The best phrase I've ever heard for a government consultation is an Insultation.
They will not listen to what anyone has to say and have already made up their minds on what they are going to do.

I’m surprised they can even spell the word. !

Jokers 🤔 they never listen, that’s why we are in this mess 🆘🆘

Absolute waste of time, might as well be talking to a tin of sardines!
