The Fine & Country agency is hoping to woo investors with what may be a new location for them – Uruguay.
A showcase of investment properties will take place at the agency’s Park Lane headquarters in Mayfair on October 5.
Fine & Country says growing international interest in Uruguay is being driven by buyers considering relocation, second homes, asset diversification and longer-term property investment.
The exhibition will be hosted by Ignacio Sorhuet, managing director of Fine & Country Uruguay, who will also discuss the country’s property market, legal and tax framework and the potential role of property ownership in supporting applications for tax residency.
Sorhuet says: “Uruguay offers an unusual combination of qualities: security, political stability, outstanding natural environments, sophisticated cities and a property market with considerable diversity.
“We are seeing growing interest from international buyers who are not simply looking for a second home, but are considering relocation, asset diversification and long-term investment.
