The National Residential Landlords Association is staging a webinar next month to bring members up to date with dramatic legal changes in the Welsh lettings sector.
Run in partnership with Flintshire County Council, the event will focus on changes that become law from December 1 this year as a result of the long-awaited introduction of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016. These changes affect all landlords in Wales.
Simon White, head of housing legislation in the Welsh Government, will answer questions, along with Sandra Towers who is the NRLA North Wales representative.
Also present on the webinar will be Martin Cooil, housing and prevention service manager at Flintshire County Council.
Landlords must enrol for the event by 5.30pm on November 17, via this link.

Who will know and understand all these new rules, will councils know, will the courts know ? will they be enforced? will it even be possible to enforce them ?
More divergence? Would it be stupid to ask what the point of this is? Devolution was necessary but there are some areas where it just doesn’t make sense and housing is one of them.
Nothing new here they hold a consultation, then ignore the result. Sometimes have the consultation after they decided,
it’s just the Government requires them to have a consultation.
