Property management platform Lendlord has launched a new tool to help landlords in England prepare for the mandatory database being introduced shortly.

Available within Lendlord’s Compliance Hub, the tool brings together information already held in a landlord’s portfolio to prepare a registration pack, flags missing details and identifies regional registration deadlines.

Landlords complete registration through the government’s system, using the information prepared in Lendlord.

Beyond initial registration, the feature manages registration notifications, due dates and renewal reminders across the portfolio.

It also alerts landlords when changes to their property or tenancy information require an update to the register, helping them keep their records current and stay on top of ongoing obligations.

A Lendlord spokesperson says: “Preparing for the new database should not mean starting from scratch. Landlords already hold much of the information they need, and our Property Register tool brings it together to make preparation simpler.

“Registration is only the first step.

“Landlords also need to keep their records up to date as circumstances change.

“The tool manages deadlines, notifications and renewal reminders, and alerts landlords when changes mean they need to update the register. It makes these ongoing responsibilities a manageable part of running a property portfolio.”

The government announcement is on GOV.UK , and the draft rules are on legislation.gov.uk.
