Private sector landlords are invited to a council housing conference to explain the Renters Rights Act.
Bolsover council is hosting the East Midlands Housing Conference 2026, which will take place at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on Tuesday October 20.
Organised by DASH Services, a provider of support and expertise for the private rented sector, the conference will provide landlords, letting agents and housing professionals with practical guidance on the impact of the Act.
Housing law specialist David Smith and Suzanne Smith, author of The Good Landlord Handbook, will deliver the keynote presentations and will be joined by a range of expert speakers leading interactive workshops throughout the day.
An exhibition featuring organisations that support landlords and housing professionals will also run alongside the conference.
A council spokesperson says: “The Renters Rights Act represents one of the biggest changes to housing legislation in many years, and this conference offers an excellent opportunity for landlords to understand what the reforms mean in practice and how they can prepare.”
